SGMW Layout
SGMW has two manufacturing bases consisting of Liuzhou headquarters and Qingdao branch. Liuzhou headquarters has three plants which are East Plant, West Plant and Engine Plant, covering an area of 892,000 m2. Qingdao branch covers an area of 461,000 m2. The number of SGMW staff is 9000 in total.

Research & Development System
SGMW has placed great emphasis on technology innovation. Depending on its national-class technical center and more than 20 years experiences, SGMW has consistently launched new vehicle models on the market with great success by leading market trends and meeting customer need. The company has paid much attention on integrating advantageous domestic and overseas resources of shareholders to form strategic partnership and strong working team. In addition, SGMW began developing the research & development capability in passenger car area on the foundation of independent research & development of company in mini commercial vehicle area.

Manufacturing System
The annual production of One Million units of mini vehicles is guaranteed by two manufacturing bases of SGMW which are Liuzhou headquarters and Qingdao Branch. With more than two decades of mini commercial vehicles manufacturing experiences, and by implementing GMS (Global Manufacturing System) in the whole production process, SGMW are now establishing its unique manufacturing system with the "low-cast, high value" manufacturing development concept to stride for the goal of building a world class company with leading manufacturing capability.

Marketing System
Wuling brand has been well recognized by customers through the mature sales and after sales system by stretch our network from big cities to small townships throughout China. Chevrolet Spark's brand value has also been recognized by the customer for its great product quality performance and excellent services provided. Strategic partnerships were established between SGMW and the nationwide distributors (dealers) .

Purchasing System
SGMW adopts GM'S global purchasing system and makes its management principle as "to produce high value vehicles at low cost". In order to achieve this goal, SGMW established strategic partnerships with world level suppliers like Bosch, Siemens and etc. They provide SGMW with high quality and valuable products at low prices. All of these contribute to SGMW's "Low cost and high value" business mode.

Qingdao Branch
Qingdao Branch, another large manufacturing base for SGMW in the North of China, was founded on Jun. 2nd, 2005 after SGMW took over Qingdao Etsong Group. It has two production plants including the vehicle production plant and engine plant. It helps SGMW have better product penetration to the northern market in China.
